The medical centre was set up in 1997 by Dr. Derek Forde and has expanded over the years. Today we have 4 GP’s, 3 practice nurses and other qualified personnel offering a friendly, family orientated service to the community.

This practice is recognised by the Irish College of General Practitioners as a training practice for Doctor’s and is also recognised by University College Dublin and the University of Limerick as a training practice for students.​
