Mr. O’Grady is a fully trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and has Specialised in Arthroplasty surgery (Hip, Knee, Shoulder and Ankle Replacement) and Sports Surgery (ACL Reconstruction, Meniscal Repair, Shoulder Stabilisation and Rotator Cuff Repair).

Our Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon at Sports Clinic West provide leading-edge orthopaedic techniques, including arthroscopic surgery for the elbow, knee, ankle and shoulder. Arthroscopic surgery is used to diagnose and repair injuries or conditions in the joints.


Arthroscopic Surgery, also referred to as arthroscopy uses an arthroscope to guide the orthopedic surgeon during a procedure. An arthroscope is a thin viewing instrument with a lens and a light that enable doctors to see inside a joint without having to open the joint up.Arthroscopy allows orthopaedic surgeon to diagnose and repair conditions at the same time with slender surgical instruments that are inserted through the arthroscope. Arthroscopic procedures only require several very small incisions.
