In addition to Pilsner beer, spas and mineral springs, cheese production is also an integral part of Western Bohemia. The company TANY in Nýrsko, specializing in the production of consumer processed popular cheeses, is one of their most important producers not only in this region but in the Czech Republic in general.

The umbrella trademark is the TANY company logo, but the DELICATO brand, which forms the basis of the company’s main product line, is far more well-known among consumers. In addition to its own brands, TANY produces a wide range of processed cheeses under the brands of Makro, Tesco Stores, Penny Market, Ahold, COOP and ACCOM, and also produces some private labels for foreign customers.
