The Malaspina Castle is located in Massa, Italy. It crowns the top of a rocky hill and dominates the wide underlying plain and part of the Tyrrhenian coast. From the 17th century the main purpose of the castle was military and it served as a prison until 1946.
The castle was subsequently restored and reopened to the public.

CITY TICKET € 10.00 for residents of the Province of Massa-Carrara. The ticket allows access to the castle throughout the year, without paying additional tickets. It is nominative and covers all entrances with the exception of those relating to events that require specific ticketing (such as the Spino fiorito). In the case of events for which the payment of an additional ticket is required, the owners will pay the difference between the ordinary price and the increased price
CUMULATIVE TICKET € 16.50 entitles you to 4 entrances to the castle (3 full and 1 free). It has no name and time constraints, meaning it can be used by different people over an indefinite period of time
