Tiszavasvári is a town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary.

Events
Self-Turning Competition and Folk Dance Meeting
A large-scale gastronomic festival that has been held since 2005, typically in the second half of May, in the urban beach area. In the competition, groups of friends and work communities cook the famous pastoral dish in Hortobágy. The number of starting teams is around 50 and 60. The number of teams varies, the number of participants reaches 1000, respectively.
The event is complemented by a full-day cultural program. Visitors can see folk dance performances in the morning and light music performances in the afternoon.
Funreal
The Funreal a local significance, 2000 has been an orderly irregular intervals, self-organized cyber sport -összejövetel, called a LAN party , overwhelmingly Tiszavasvari and recently Tiszalök location.
