Tököl is a town in Pest County, Hungary.
Sights
- Church of the Assumption ( Roman Catholic Church). In it Feszty Masa entitled „The Birth of Mary“ altarpiece and Michael Csehy 1519 derived from the Renaissance style, is located on the main altar before it’s back to the ship now on display in the wall marble tombstone.
- Reformed Church
- Local historical landmark: Mária farmhouse on Csepel Island , with a portrait of Kossuth , Bem , Damjanich on the ceiling of a clean room .
- The Tököl airport located at the entrance Maléter Paul headboard , and not far from the entrance to the housing estate Pesti út 2006 in the Revolution of 1956 inaugurated 50-year anniversary of Paul Maléter bronze statue.
- On the outskirts of the city is the Gothic chapel of St. Anne, which was destroyed in 1944 and restored in the 1980s.
- In the Heroes‘ Square there is a memorial column decorated with the coat of arms of Kossuth , as well as the 1848 centenary monument and flag park, the World War I and the World War II monuments erected in 1993 .
- Interestingly even set up next to the Town Hall, Country Apple symbolizing the fountain.

Other
- Eight km south of Szigetszentmiklós is the former Soviet military airport , which is now a public landing site serving civilian aircraft.
- There has been a juvenile prison on the outskirts of the city since 1958 .
Location
Tököl is located on Csepel Island , bordered on the south by Szigetcsép , on the east by Szigethalom , on the west by the Danube , and on the north by Halásztelek , from which it is separated by Tököl Airport . South of Budapest approx. It is 20 km away. The city is crossed by the Ráckeve HÉV line.
