Torekällberget is an open-air museum on Torekällberget in central Södertälje in Stockholm County . The museum was inaugurated in 1929 and shows how people lived in Södertälje and eastern Södermanland in the 19th century. The museum area is divided into “The City” and “The Country”. Nora windmill has become the “brand” and symbol of the museum. The 19th century week on Torekällberget was a recurring summer event where the history of Sörmland came to life again.

Torekällberget is the collective name for the activities of Torekällberget’s open-air museum, Södertälje City Museum, Biological Museum and Kulturmiljövården in Södertälje municipality. Today, Torekällberget has about ten permanent employees. Museum director since 2001 is Stefan Sundblad. See more under sections Patonska huset, Södertälje Stadsmuseum and Holmbergska villa .
