Cultural facilities
Opened in 1983 and completely modernized in 2005, the Jacques-Tati cinema, located in the Vert-Galant district, offers a varied program combining author films with “mainstream” films. School sessions are organized every day and the Jacques-Tati cinema participates in the School and Cinema, College in Cinema and High School in Cinema programs in partnership with National Education. Every year in March, the cinema organizes Terra di cinema, Italian film festival which, for three weeks, offers a panorama of the best transalpine films in the presence of directors and actors.
Tremblay also has the Louis-Aragon theater taken over since 2006 by Emmanuelle Jouan, whose mission is to restore artistic coherence to the program. On show evenings, the Café des Artistes, adjoining the theater, opens its doors before and after the program, to allow the evening to continue over a drink and a snack. Artists are often loyal to this friendly meeting.
Tremblay organizes and participates in numerous cultural events each year. One of the most significant takes place at the end of June in the park of the Château Bleu: the festival of the blue tent, dedicated to the circus arts and created in 2006.
