Zuyd Hogeschool is an ambitious university of applied sciences in the heart of Europe with three core activities: education for students, research for companies and institutions, and training and education for professionals. For many years, various courses of ours have been at the top of the selection guides. This is partly due to the personal attention to our students and our relatively small scale. In addition, we work intensively across the boundaries of disciplines with companies, (knowledge) institutions and governments. This is because we are convinced that the 21st century is not only about knowledge, but also about the ability to apply that knowledge in practice.

With 14,671 students, 34 bachelor’s and 9 master’s programs, 3 associate degrees and 1 pre-bachelor, 12 branches in 3 cities, 29 lectorates, an average of 7,000 internships and 2,500 graduation projects per year, and with a history dating back more than 100 years, Zuyd is strong anchored in Limburg and the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. In this way we make an important contribution to the economic and social development agenda of this region.
